Day 34, 4 days until you return.

So, back to work I go, and I must say, it was good to be back doing something and being ill!
It's Monday so i started late, I got bored this morning and made rice crispie cakes, if you're lucky I'll save you one, if not, we'll make some more, I have a box of rice crispies after forgetting I didn't like them and buying a box full.
I went to the open farm with work first, it was freezing cold and ram packed with unruly children. We didn't stay too long!
I had dinner at work and then went bowling, in a twist of events, I managed to win twice, this was brilliant as I usually loose dramatically!
I returned to work, did my paper work and came home for a lovely cup of Yorkshire tea.
That was my Monday over!
oh, that message I sent you earlier probably made no sense as it wasn't actually for you. It was for the other Helen!
See you soon xx

Day 33, 5 days until you return!

I am so excited that you will be back in such a short time, I hope you're not too jet lagged! I decided to go an look at the sales earlier, I brought a fantastic hat, I'm fed up of being cold when I have to go horse riding with work! This will certainly solve that problem!
I had to get Dad to look at my car because all of my lights went, He said to take it to a garage because he thought there was yet another problem with my car. I took it to halfords and it turns out it was just the bulbs, they all decided to die at once! A nice young man fitted me some new ones and that was that sorted!
I spent the afternoon cleaning and tidying, the flat smells of shake and vac and everything is relatively tidy, so hopefully should still be nice for your return!
I made chilli for tea which was rather delicious and then spent the evening not doing a lot as I've got work tomorrow and want to make sure I'm not at all flu like when I go in!
Bruce is on tonight! I shall report back about him tomorrow!

Day 32, 6 days until you return, New Years Day.

Well, I woke up in a better mood than I went to bed in, this however, was not particularly difficult, I was in bed before midnight with the terrifying sound of fireworks cracking out of control outside my window. I eventually managed to get to sleep and when I woke up I felt almost back to normal, almost.

Mam wanted to go to the Lakeland shop this morning, the one like the one in Windermere, full of tat that old people can't get enough of. Well anyway, the one near us is near a retail park so I said I'd go with her providing we could go to the retail park afterwards.
On the way to Mams the time was 11.11 my clock display said 11:11 1/1/11 this amused me.
Anyway to my great delight, Lakeland was shut, so we just went to the retail park, there wasn't much there though really but we had a coffee!

I spent the afternoon at the farm, we watched Peter Pan. Mam cooked roast dinner and i created the best bread and butter pudding ever known to man. Afterwards we played monopoly, obviously Matties idea, He won. I got bored, there was the usual amount of shouting swearing and cheating and me and Mum gave up just before the very end so that Matt couldn't say he actually won.

That was about it for New Years Day.

I did get to speak to you though and this was magnificent. I liked hearing that you had been on a horse as I could imagine this would be brilliant to watch.
Your home soon, this makes me excited.

Day 31, a week until you return. New Years Eve.

The thing is, new years has always been a fairly rubbish time of year, It reminds me of the great things that haven't happened this year, the fact that I'm still living in a shabby flat in Milton Keynes, I still haven't found that beautiful husband I've been planning on finding, I still have no idea of what I'm actually doing in life, and all the hopes I had for the year, have predominantly, disappeared without a trace. The one main issue I have with New Years Eve is that I always feel to be in the same position every year, I seem to be lacking a certain progress somewhere along the line.

What makes this year particularly worse is that firstly I feel I've just woke up from a coma and secondly, and more importantly you are still not here. Luckily however in one weeks time, you shall be, and we can celebrate then.

I've done very little today, But I have felt like I am able top do slightly more than sleep! I came over to Mams this afternoon and we watched another film. I made fajitas for tea, you would've been proud, they were mighty fine. The boys both went out to Party's and I stayed in with Mum, Dad and Billy, thrilling as you can imagine.
On the plus side, I've found us a holiday for next year, it's a lovely cottage, on a working farm in county cork. its about £200 for a week, Ideal? I think so. I shall find a husband in 2011. Fact.
I've saved all the details, we can look at it when you return, if you decide it's no good, I'll go alone!
Happy new year little Trampy.

Day 30, 8 days until you return, 3 days till Bruce

I'm still it, its digressed, I've been sicking. Mam came to my rescue and took me to hers, we watched slumdog millionaire!
I miss you a lot and can not wait for our reunion F and Bs.
It's new years eve tomorrow and it's looking like I'm not going to be doing an awful lot, I hate new years. I hate that a whole year has passed and nothings changed!

I was watching the Rob Brydon show, Alice Cooper was on it, apparently he goes to Hawaii for 2 weeks every year after Christmas. You should probably get looking out for him!

Just over a week now

Day 29, 9 days until you return!

Hello sunshine, Your adventures over the last few days sound wonderful, I most definitely would've gone camera crazy, we would've certainly have found our own pathways on the walks as well, like the time in Ingleton, where I nearly fell to my death into a waterfall.
I still feel so ill, I had to phone in sick at work, which I have never done in my life, except that one time when we got hilariously drunk and couldn't move and I told Debbie you had cooked for me the night before and I couldn't stop being sick, but that doesn't really count as it was a blatant lie.
I have actually been in bed for the majority of the day, Mam came to visit with orange juice and medicine that tasted like jagermeister.

I have very little to tell you except for a great piece of news. New series of Bruce Parry starts on Sunday! wahoooo. It's not tribe but it looks pretty amazing!

Anyway, I hope you haven't annoyed Nick too much with your questioning, funny though!
see you soon xx

Day 28, 10 days until you return.

I can barely type, everything hurts, if this is the female version of flu, and man flu is worse, I am sincerely glad I don't have a willy.
I have just done a 15 hour shift at work, that didn't help.
10 days couldn't come sooner x x x
